Senior Pastor
Bradford Reaves
Dr. Bradford Reaves is passionate about teaching the Bible with excellence, helping people understand the Word of God, and seeing others grow in their faith. He started pastoring in 1998. He received his Bachelor's in Pastoral Ministry and Pastoral Counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, He earned two Master's Degrees (in Christian Ministry and Religious Leadership) and his Doctorate in Ministry from Liberty University. He is an ordained elder with the Brethren Church and a graduate of the Academy of Expository Preaching.
Pastor Brad has led churches in Charleston, SC, Winchester, VA, and Hagerstown, MD. In addition to Pastoral Ministry, Pastor Brad is active with foreign missions, traveling to the Philippines, Guinea-Bissau, and Honduras. He is also a retired State Trooper.
Pastor Brad and his wife Andrea are natives of Hagerstown and married 28 years ago. Together, along with their son, Noah, they live in Hagerstown, MD.
Worship Pastor
Matthew Price
Pastor Matthew Price is a gifted vocalist, musician, and worship leader who loves using his gifts for the glory of God. Even more, Pastor Matt loves to lead others to grow in their worship life and give praise to the Lord. Born and raised on the Ohio-Kentucky border, Pastor Matt was the child of a small country church pastor who soon learned God granted him a unique gift of music and singing. Pastor Matt plays the piano, guitar, mandolin, drums, and didgeridoo.
Pastor Matt attended the University of Massachusetts where he earned his Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy. He has performed with the Baltimore Opera, Washington National Opera, Wolftrap, and various vocal groups. He served as a Worship Pastor in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland. He and his 3 children live in Hagerstown
Children's Ministry Director
Melanie Witmer
Melanie Witmer is a premier and talented leader in children's ministry. She is a gifted and experienced teacher who has a knack for sharing the Bible and the gospel with children of all ages in a way that is meaningful and applicable to their life stages. Her experience is seen in the legacy of children who are now older and still strong in their faith. Melanie has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Bridgewater College and a Master's Degree in Environmental Biology from Hood College. She obtained her teaching certification from Coastal Carolina University and is a retired teacher.
Melanie leads a team of exceptional children's ministry leaders, who bring to CrossWay Christian Fellowship a level of experience rarely found in a church. You will know that your child will receive sound biblical instruction that will build them now and throughout their life as they grow in their faith.
